How do we best win over family, friends and legislators to support school choice?

We invite them into our schools. Our children and our programs are our best sales tools. Get these people into the schools to see our kids and teachers in action. Also, get them involved with the kids: reading to the kids, talking to the kids about their jobs, etc., having them as judges for science fairs, art contests, etc. Anything to get them into the schools and involved with the kids.

Bob, It's so great to see you here. Welcome! I believe you're right, making our kids, staff and families a personal experience versus a number or statistic is helpful. Have you had much success inviting non-charter school supporting legislators? Our very local leaders are charter school supporters, but I know that's not the case across the state.
